高雄電影節 Kaohsiung Film Festival

2001年12月，高雄市政府新聞處主辦【第一屆高雄電影節】，是一項屬於自己在地的電影節，亦是重要國際性活動。共有來自台灣、香港、大陸、韓國、日本、泰國、新加坡、印度、印尼等九個國家共37部片共襄盛舉。到今天，高雄電影節8歲了! 這一個屬於南方的城市影展，就像是8歲活潑小童，在灼熱的陽光海灘上，邁力向前奔跑。

Kaohsiung Government Information Office held the 1st Kaohsiung Film Festival during December 2001. This major international activity featured 37 films from nine countries, including Taiwan, Hong Kong, and China. The Kaohsiung Film Festival is now in its eighth year. The film festival is still gaining momentum, and is leaping forward like an eight-year-old child on a sunny southern beach.
