Kaohsiung Film Festival

Kaohsiung Government Information Office held the 1st Kaohsiung Film Festival during December 2001. This major international activity featured 37 films from nine countries, including Taiwan, Hong Kong, and China. The Kaohsiung Film Festival is now in its eighth year. The film festival is still gaining momentum, and is leaping forward like an eight-year-old child on a sunny southern beach.
